The food, the service and the ambience were all outstanding. For drinks, we ordered a Jamaica, an Horchata and a tamarind Michelada. For food, we ordered the birria tacos and the Carne Asada fries. I'm still thinking about the tamarin Michelada. I definitely recommend and will definitely go back.

The food was clearly cultivated by a creative and talented chef! We ordered Vulcan seafood and the avocado burger, both of which did not disappoint! The ambiance is so unique, not your typical decor found in a Mexican restaurant! The decor is fresh, young and sweet!! We could not be happier about our dinner! We highly recommend Delicias Mexican Restaurant!
I came here in October 2023. Can't believe it's been a year and a half. And I just came again today. The owner told us his wonderful story when we came and sat down. It was a beautiful place to eat. Real cuisine and beautiful food and this retro kind of kitschy decor.. unfortunately today I had not as nice of an experience. First of all the person that answers the phone was extremely passive aggressive and was the same lady that insisted that they had to print out a receipt for Apple Pay because people claim they didn't buy it. Obviously this person knows nothing about technology. The whole point of paying with an iPhone is that only you can get into your own phone to pay. It's locked! It is more secure than a credit card! I think it was just cause she was trying to get a tip, but if you have the right machine, you can get a tip on the machine. I specifically said that I had a medical condition and couldn't have fat and wanted a teeny bit of cheese but it was interested in the yelp review about micro greens. she told me it came on top. And then when I left and came home I realised I didn't have it and called her up and she said oh it's just a small garnish anyway. Well, if I would've known it was just a small garnish I might've ordered a side of more of it because that's not really giving somebody vegetables with your food. anyway, she was extremely passive aggressive on every level. I don't know why people are in the service business when they really don't like people.
Best mole EVER! The enchiladas and salsas are top notch. Whoever is cooking knows their stuff! Service was friendly and fast. The decor is festive, gorgeous and classy. Prices were extremely reasonable which is a nice respite from the sting of many Southern California places. Go if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.
Service is spot on. Presentation is outstanding right down to the creative, wood bill holder. Enchiladas & chilli relleno are the bomb. Negro Modelo on tap is weak so get a bottle. Black beans & rice were delicious but barely warm. Tres Enchiladas comes chicken, beef OR cheese & sadly can't be ordered one of each. I'm nitpicking. The food, service & ambiance were excellent at our new fav Mexican restaurant in DHS.
This place is legit! It is clearly a labor of love for the owner. He is from Mexico City and said all the spices are imported from there. The margarita flight was yummy. Everything we ordered was great. My fave was the queso fundido. The only sour note was that our waiter forgot about us towards the end and we had to flag down other folks to get water, order our dessert and get our check.
Desert Hot Springs isn't known as a culinary destination. It's known for a couple other things but I won't get into that lol. I was in town for a meeting and when we broke for lunch there was only one place I wanted to go. Located along the main drag on Pierson, Delicias doesn't really stick out until you get a bit closer. For one it's pink and two there's old school rock siding. Once inside it's a nice open space with a small bar and more of that amazing rock siding. We got menus, waters, chips and salsa quickly after being seated. I didn't need the menu as I knew what I wanted. The chicken mole enchiladas. This has to be one of the prettiest presentations in the history of food. It's art. The enchiladas were stuffed with tender chicken and mole itself is a bit sweeter than I'm used to but still delicious. The beans and rice here were also super tasty. Service was friendly and my water was rarely empty. Unless you want fast food, I don't think you'd want to go anywhere else for a meal if you're in DHS. This place really is a gem. High marks for food and service. If I lived closer I'd definitely return. Highly recommended!
This is a must if you are out in the desert!! Fabulous Mexican restaurant!! Great vibe great attentive service. Started our meal with the queso with chorizo.. so satisfying!! So delicious I ordered the mole and it is simply amazing! Thirst quenching aqua Fresca Capped off our meal with tres Leche cake Thank you!!!!
